Every Class Is a Different Door Into the Same Stillness
Six distinct formats. One converted 19th-century chapel. Zero competition — only the quiet, focused work of learning to inhabit your own body more fully.
All classes run weekly and can be booked individually or through a membership pass via Momoyoga. Class sizes are intentionally capped to preserve the quality of individual attention.
Weekly Classes

Vinyasa Flow
Breath-synchronised movement sequences that build whole-body strength and kinesthetic awareness. Morning vinyasa classes focus on energising the body for the day ahead; evening sessions shift toward integration and release. Suitable for all levels with modifications always offered.

Yin Yoga
Passive, long-held postures targeting the connective tissue and fascia — the body's often-neglected deep layer. Practised in candlelight with ambient sound, yin classes at Inner Flow are an immersive experience in deliberate stillness. Particularly beneficial for athletes, desk workers, and anyone carrying chronic stress.

Prenatal Yoga
Tailored sequences supporting expectant mothers through every trimester — pelvic floor awareness, breath preparation for labour, and the simple relief of movement that honours rather than fights your changing body. Classes are intimate by design, capped at ten students, and include a shared tea circle after each session.

Sound Healing Journey
A 75-minute immersive session combining restorative yoga postures with live sound immersion using Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, koshi chimes, and a full-sized gong — played live within the chapel's extraordinary natural reverb. No yoga experience needed. Bring an open mind and comfortable clothing.

Breathwork & Pranayama
Structured breathing sessions drawing from Pranayama traditions alongside contemporary somatic and conscious-connected breathing methods. Sessions can produce profound states of clarity, creativity, and emotional resolution — and are facilitated by instructors trained in trauma-sensitive breathwork facilitation.

Sunday Community Sessions
Open to all, led by rotating instructors, and fuelled entirely by donation. Sunday mornings at Inner Flow have become a quietly beloved fixture of Ghent's wellness community — arriving early means a spot for the communal tea ceremony that precedes each class.
The 200hr and 500hr programs are intensive but humane — structured to challenge you without breaking you, and to graduate teachers who are grounded, skillful, and genuinely ready to lead.
How Our Teacher Training Unfolds
01

Application & Interview
Every applicant completes a short written application and a brief conversation with the lead trainer. This isn't gatekeeping — it's how we ensure the cohort is the right size and the right fit, and how we understand what each student is bringing to the training.
02

Foundation Modules
The first phase covers anatomy and physiology, classical yoga philosophy (Patanjali's sutras, the Bhagavad Gita in context), and the fundamentals of sequencing. Weekend immersions and weekday self-practice are integrated from the start.
03

Teaching Practicum
Students begin teaching to each other — and then to supervised public classes — earlier than most programs dare. We believe that learning to hold space for others is itself a yoga practice, and it cannot be learned only from books.
04

Specialisation & Electives
In the 500hr track, students choose two specialisation streams from options including trauma-informed teaching, advanced pranayama, prenatal and postnatal, and yoga nidra. These modules are taught by visiting faculty who are active practitioners in their specialist fields.
05

Graduation & Certification
Both programs conclude with a public teaching assessment, a reflective portfolio submission, and a graduation ceremony held in the chapel itself. Graduates receive Yoga Alliance–registered 200hr or 500hr certificates and join the Inner Flow alumni network with ongoing access to continuing education workshops.
Your Questions About Classes & Training
Comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move freely in — activewear works well but isn't mandatory. We provide all props including mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters. Bare feet are required on the studio floor. Arrive 10 minutes early for your first session so the instructor can briefly orient you.
If you're brand new to yoga, Sunday community sessions or evening yin classes are the most accessible starting points. If you have some experience and want to build strength and flexibility simultaneously, vinyasa flow is ideal. If you're pregnant, prenatal yoga is the only class we recommend unless cleared otherwise by your midwife or OB.
We ask that applicants have a consistent personal practice of at least one year — meaning regular attendance at classes, not necessarily daily home practice. What matters more than advanced poses is genuine curiosity, a willingness to be challenged, and a sincere motivation to share the practice with others.
We run the 200hr in a modular format — weekend immersions (Friday evening through Sunday) spread over six months, supplemented by weekday self-practice requirements and online study modules. This allows students to maintain jobs and family commitments while still immersing deeply in the material.
Yes — private sessions can be arranged with any of our instructors and are particularly popular for injury rehabilitation, pregnancy-specific guidance, and personalised breathwork instruction. Rates and availability vary by instructor. Contact us directly to enquire.
